After a particularly cold winter with temperatures in the single digits Spring is a welcome sight.  The warm weather and sunshine warm the body and lift the spirit.  This weekend is filled with Easter baskets, egg hunts, BBQ’s, religious celebrations and family fun.

Easter: Sacred or Secular

For many Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The promise of redemption, fresh starts and the beginning of new life.

Church attendance is up for all denominations.

For others Easter is a time of candy comas, eggs and baskets.

However you celebrate, we really all celebrate the same thing.  We celebrate the coming of Spring, the warmth of the sun and the promise of new life that comes with it.
