There have been nasty little gremlins in my closet.  They have been systematically shrinking my clothes over the last week or so.  How do I know it is the gremlins?

Fairies are Nice

First of all it is the sweet little clothing fairies that make your clothes bigger.  They slip into your closet and sprinkle fairy dust on your clothing.  It simulates water and sunshine so that your clothing can grow.  These sweet little gems have been in my closet off and on for the last month or so.  Apparently they were scared away.

I’ve Been Watching What I Eat

I know it is not the cookies, pudding, ice cream, chocolate, and fruit with whipping cream that I have eaten.  It definitely has not been the snacks of peanut butter & chocolate chips.  That is just a pick-me-up so that I don’t fall asleep in the middle of the day.  I didn’t put the marshmallows in it.  I have been very careful to remove the calories before eating.  There are very specific techniques that are used to remove calories from different types of food.  This is a whole post in and of itself so I will explain these techniques next week.

Active Lifestyle

Exercise has been a high priority these last couple of weeks.  I walked the two blocks to church and back at least a week ago. I have walked out to the car. I’ve walked from the car into the store and around the store and back to the car. I’ve walked to the end of my driveway to the mailbox at least six times in the last two weeks. I’ve been up and down the stairs in our house at least once a day. I’ve done a total of 50 push ups on the wall over a two-week period.  I got on the Wii once, but something came up right after I stepped onto the exercise board.  I did at least weigh myself.  Somehow I’ve gained 1.5 lbs.    That is not enough to make my clothes tight again.

I just don’t understand.  Why are these nasty little gremlins playing mean tricks on me.  Who said they could sneak in my closet and mess with my clothes.  I feel grumpy now and it’s all their fault.
